What's the story behind a time when you got locked out?
This past December I left with my mom to go get my sister from work. As my mom pulled the door closed behind her I asked, "Did you lock it...?", we didn't have a key with us. Her eyes widened and she said no, then we went around the back and tried the back door, and then the front, both were locked.
So we went and picked up my sister from downtown, took about five minutes. Got back home, my sister was already in a shitty, bitchy mood. When she tried the door leading to the basement she practically screamed and kicked the door, her attitude worsening with the second. My mom and I rolled our eyes and hopped back into the car, it was freezing. My sister messed around, looking for the spare key that we don't put outside, then came back to the car, she acted like we did this on purpose to just ruin her day. We snapped a couple times at each other.
Then we called my brother and drove back downtown to get a key from him. Back to the house. IT WAS THE WRONG KEY. He had accidentally given us the key to his apartment, not our house. So we drive back downtown, all silent because the novelty of the situation had worn off and finally we got the correct key to open the door with, and we all tumbled into the warm house.
Fun to think back on, but not fun to go through.
I have sores all over my tongue, I'm wheezing and just feeling very lethargic, yet I am doing so much better than Friday & Saturday, when I was throwing up. I've been pretty absent from the world of the internet, except at lucky forums, mostly because I haven't much I feel like writing about. I don't want to be a bore, but I don't want to explain everything that's going on in my world, I'm still dealing with the effects of my dad leaving and all this drama, but I don't know how much I feel like telling everyone.
I'm tired, I need more Ben and Jerry's for fuel, I just thought I'd stop in for an update. Now I'm going to put my laptop up, roll over and fall asleep--or at least watch Dr. Phil.
How do you handle phone calls from telemarketers?
For the most part, we don't receive calls from telemarketers, because we never answer our phones if they're from someone we don't like/want to talk to (Grandma haha) but if it's an unavailable number, which means it's probably a telemarketer, I just turn on the phone, don't say anything, turn it off.
I love you Grandma, I just don't love talking to you.
